For seafood, we prioritize working with key suppliers who hold certifications for sustainability wherever possible. Particularly for core seafood lines such as cod, haddock, salmon, tuna, and prawns. In line with guidance from the Marine Conservation Society (MCS), we advocate for sustainable species and recommend alternatives to those rated 5 / red as fish to avoid.
Traceability is paramount, and we maintain stringent standards to ensure transparency and confidence in our supply chain. Recognizing the increasing significance of aquaculture in seafood consumption, we actively seek out products from aquaculture facilities certified by respected schemes such as the ASC, GAA-BAP, and Global GAP.
Moreover, we encourage the exploration of lesser-known, underutilized species as an additional avenue for promoting sustainability. By collaborating with local fisheries utilizing small day boats, we aim to use the entire catch, minimizing waste
